In a recent blog post (DBSA Positive 6 Campaign: The Challenge) I shared that I plan to participate in the Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance’s (DBSA) Positive 6 campaign. The Positive 6 campaign challenges people living with mental health conditions to focus on making small changes in their lives that help them connect to their health and communities. In May the challenge is focused on Feeding Kindness, and I’ve been thinking about how I’d like to meet this challenge in my own life.
DBSA helpfully provides a list of ideas each month to help you figure out what you’d most like to do to address that month’s challenge: May: Feeding Kindness. The ideas that resonate with me are to make a donation of money and goods to a local food bank (it’s been too long since our last donation as it is!) and to share some recipes with friends that I’d long ago promised to pass along.
How will you address May’s Feeding Kindness challenge?
